The Conway Regional Health Foundation has awarded $78,500 in scholarships to 38 area students currently enrolled in or beginning their education in a health-related career field.  

Each year, scholarships in the form of grants are awarded to students pursuing a degree or certificate from an accredited institution. This year, 223 students applied, with 89 advancing to the interview stage.  

“These scholarships are an investment in the future of our community. By supporting our employees, their families, and local students, we’re helping to remove financial barriers and open doors to meaningful careers in health care,” said Matt Troup, President and CEO of Conway Regional Health System. “It’s another way we’re living out our commitment to provide deeply personal, intentional care that meets the unique needs of those we serve.”

The health foundation is honored to help these students take the next step in their healthcare journeys.”

• Dr. Bill & Betty Roberts Medical Staff Scholarship – Grace Turner  

• Dr. James S. Garrison Endowed Scholarships – Sara Hilman, Gisselle Hernandez, Deqlyn Buttrey, and Heather Anderson   

• Dr. William Furlow Medical Staff Scholarship – Faith Lusty  

• Conway Regional Health Foundation Scholarships – Kirsten Binder, Baker Kendrick, Suzette Marks, Darin Davenport, Jamie Paxton, Austin Anderson, Duncan Troup, Sunni Harrington, Katherine Hill, Parker New, Alia Jones, Kori Williams, Hannah Donham, Abigail Reyes, Seth Davis, Anna New, and Alexis Jones
